Natural Treatment for Endometriosis
Posted by: Melissa Ramos

One day I had the idea to reach out to my gals on my Facebook Fan Page to ask about their experiences with endometriosis. What had they heard from their doctors? What had been their struggles? The results: astounding…and truthfully, almost a little heartbreaking. So given that I know that endometriosis is such a hot topic for many of you, I wanted to address it in this week’s video and provide you with the opportunity to download my free Pain-Free Endometriosis Guide. Sweet! Alright, so let’s get started with this week’s topic:

Natural Treatment for Endometriosis

What most people will ask me is, “Melissa, what can I take for my endo?”

The truth is, there’s no silver bullet because endometriosis is a symptom, not the root cause. Hormone-balancing requires an all-encompassing approach of proper nutrition, key supplementation and lifestyle techniques. In my professional practice, I believe that it stems from:

  • Gut dysbiosis – so when the digestive bacterial balance is off
  • Liver congestion – which is required to conjugate hormones
  • Poor quality foods – so think the consumption of processed foods
  • Excess carbohydrates – and I’m referring to breads, pastas, rice, etc.

Now I’m not saying that there aren’t any environmental causes like xenoestrogens found in our plastics because there are, but the top are the areas that I’ve chosen to focus on in this week’s video.

Here is a recap of what I’ve suggested in the video above:

  • A high quality probiotic that has the CFU count listed beside each strain.
  • Unpasteurized apple cider vinegar or a bitters tincture like St. Francis HepatoDR or St. Francis Canadian Bitters Combo. Take 1 full dropper 5-10mins before each meal
  • Reduce your grains and increase your greens, particularly your bitter greens that will help to stimulate bile flow from the liver helping any possible liver congestion.
    • Side note: 90 million Americans suffer from non-alcoholic fatty liver disease! So a bitters tincture is crucial in my opinion!

And last but not least I’ve included a delicious recipe on how to make rapini in a way I promise you that you will absolutely go bananas for.
